The project

For Origin Living, we created custom backlit signage designed specifically for their exhibition stand.

Working closely with the Origin Living team, we considered the overall stand design, available space and viewing angles before developing the signage. The scale and positioning were carefully planned to ensure the brand remained clear, balanced and easily visible across the exhibition space.

The finished sign complemented the stand without overpowering it, while the backlighting gave the Origin Living branding a strong, polished presence that helped attract attention and reinforce the brand throughout the event.

The brief

Origin Living needed illuminated branding that would integrate naturally with their exhibition stand while remaining clearly visible across a busy event space. The signage had to feel proportionate to the stand, work with its layout and finishes, and create a strong brand presence from different viewing angles without overwhelming the overall design.

What we created

We worked closely with the Origin Living team to develop custom backlit acrylic lettering tailored to the exhibition stand. The scale, spacing and positioning were planned around the stand’s proportions, structure and key sightlines. Integrated LED backlighting created a clean, even glow that made the branding prominent while maintaining a polished and cohesive finish.

The finished result

The finished signage gave Origin Living a confident and professional presence throughout the exhibition. Its considered scale and placement made the branding easy to recognise from across the event space, while the backlighting added depth and visual impact. The sign complemented the stand design and helped create a memorable, cohesive presentation of the Origin Living brand.

Behind the build

How we made it

The lettering was constructed from 20mm-deep 308 stainless steel and combined with 10mm acrylic to diffuse the LED illumination. This construction created a strong, durable finish while allowing the light to spread evenly behind each element.

The proportions and spacing were carefully checked against the exhibition stand design before production. Once assembled, the signage was tested to confirm consistent illumination, a clean halo effect and a high-quality finish ready for installation on the stand.
